Hsiu Lin Li is a Senior Research Associate at the UNSW RNA Institute where she has a dual role of producing synthetic RNA and supervising postgraduate research students. She has 20+ years experience as a postdoctoral researcher in synthetic organic and organometallic chemistry, working, in particular, with air and moisture sensitive compounds (including pyrophorics).
She is a co-author of three books on structural elucidation from spectra (Organic Structures from Spectra Sixth Edition, Organic Structures from 2D NMR Spectra and Instructor’s Guide and Solutions Manual to Organic Structures from 2D NMR Spectra).
Her love for making things extends beyond the workplace as she also knits for a hobby.
