Process development for the analysis of pDNA and mRNA quality and integrity through methods such as capillary electrophoresis and mass spectrometry.
Biography
Hiroki joined the UNSW RNA Institute in 2023 following the completion of his PhD in microbiology and immunology. He is involved in developing and optimising the processes of mRNA production and analysis to ensure that the products of the UNSW RNA Institute are of the highest quality.
Hiroki’s background is in infectious disease microbiology and he has experience in pharmaceutical and diagnostic environments. His past work involved the characterisation of a bacterial pathogen through molecular biology techniques and the identification of novel vaccine candidates.
In his spare time, Hiroki enjoys cooking and indulging in an extensive cheese and charcuterie board in the sunshine.
