Quality management systems, development and implementation
Alison has extensive experience working in regulated laboratory environments and has knowledge of quality management and accreditation procedures. She played a key role in achieving ISO 9001 certification for the UNSW RNA Institute, making it the first accredited manufacturer of RNA-based therapeutics in Australia.
Prior to this, she worked in hospital and private laboratories, where she learned about providing quality services with a focus on staff and patient health and safety. She also played a key role in establishing a start-up pathology laboratory and obtaining NATA accreditation through her expertise in quality management.
In her free time, she enjoys activities such as camping and travelling. She is also an avid collector of dog memes and enjoys the occasional murder mystery/thriller.
